GTX 465 upgrade from 9400M?

Hi all,

I'm not really all that savy when it comes to mobile chips, but what kind of an upgrade would a friend of mine expect going from a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo + GeForce 9400M to an Athlon II X4 3.1GHz + GeForce GTX 465 1GB?

Huge hugeness. Flintstones to Jetsons.

Of course, if he's playing single threaded old games the difference will be... just "dramatic". But in stuff like GTA4, Lost Planet 2, Bad Company 2, Starcraft 2, it will be night and day.

An x4 @ 3.1 and a 465 is a potent gaming combo, great for 1680x1050 with 2x to 8x AA in the newest titles, and 1920x1080 with no AA or 2x.

If I had to build a bare minimum gaming rig right now, that CPU and GPU would be among my first choices.
