Are there any decent aftermarket coolers yet for the GTX570?

For that case, I wouldn't recommend an aftermarket solution. It will dump heat back into your case, and with a little cooling as you have, it would make your internal components even hotter than they are now. Just keep the stock cooler and let it exhaust most of the heat out of your system.

You need a new case before you think about getting an aftermarket cooler for your GPU.

I'm considering a new case, since this Antec Sonata does not allow an intake fan, so there's no way to get 'cool' air inside the case to let it pass through. Now, it only has a 120mm cpu fan, suck air into the cpu cooler and out to the back, with a 120mm fan sucking the air out + the GTX with a stock cooler.

I have a MSI GTX 570 with a Twin Frozr II on it coming tomorrow, I'll tell you how loud/hot that is, for comparison.

Agreed and with a descent Case, he probably won't need aftermarket cooling unless there is an issue with his heatsink/fan assembly.

Nice. Let us know how you get on and post some pics of the cooling setup.

What case would you guys recommend? I was thinking about the Antec P183 v3. But maybe there are better options?

Cases are such a personal thing. What suits you best. Maybe reads some online reviews to see if you like the case and it suits your needs.

There are other Cases around for the same sort of coin and look like they would cool better than the 183. Cases like the Coolermaster HAF922 and CM690. Both can fit extra Fans. Just to name a couple.

The one we got around that price point is the NZXT Phantom.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-067-_-Product

Good number of fans, very quiet, no flashy window on the side, looks like a storm trooper , 5-channel fan controller, cable management, etc. Also, if you don't like white, they've got black and red versions too.

I know you're going for a non-flashy case, but this one is a very very good case for the money. It would keep all of your components very cool with ease, and it's silent from about 2 feet away. It has a couple of expansion slots for extra large cooling fans as well, so if it's not cool enough, you can make it cooler.

Anyway, that's my recommendation.

You guessed right that I'm more into a more conservative look. But I guess I'll definitely needs something with a nice intake fan, and possible a good sidefan too.

Then I'd say get the black version. It should blend in with the rest of your computer setup, and trust me when I say that people will compliment you on how sleek it looks. The fact that it has great cooling and a 5-channel fan controller at the top is a huge bonus.

The white and red ones are flashy. No doubt about that one. The black one is sleek and powerful looking, so that's my recommendation.

Here's another option:

LIAN LI ARMORSUIT PC-P50

Lian Li are considered the "Porsche" of computer cases. If you're going for conservative with great cooling, that's a wonderful case to get. It will beat the pants off the P183 for cooling performance.

Have to say the black version looks pretty ok, but I'm more impressed with the inside of the case. Is this a loud case, the last thing I want is even more loud fans than my current setup with 2x120mm fans (one Scythe, silent. One Antec, not so much).
