I was going to buy a GTX 560 Ti, but i also use Linux (& BSD after the summer) as my main desktop environment.
the supported products listed here does not include the 560, is that a mistake? http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-d...36-driver.html also, the 500 series, can they be run in SLi under linux and BSD? do these drivers even work under BSD? Thanks. |

Doesn't seem to be a mistake. Searching Nvidia for Linux drivers for the 560 returns no results either. I would wait, they are probably working on a driver atm. The card just launched 2-3 weeks ago and the Windows drivers are still release drivers, so it will take a little time before it's fully supported on all OS'es.

good point, i won't be buying for a few months yet. However, i am still waiting for openGL 2.0 support from my 6 year old 1900xtx. ;p i will keep an eye on these forums; thanks for the info.
