Default Reading GPU clock speeds from command line?

Can I get the above information from command line?
I tried nvidia-smi -q but the clock speeds of core and shader don't look realistic. Even if I select prefer maximum performance from powermizer settings they show 40 or so. Memory clocks show real values in nvidia-smi -q. How can I get this information reliably? Thanks.

nvidia-smi -q reported clocks are sometimes wrong: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...7&postcount=18
