I have the same overlay issue, with e.g. Youtube videos appearing on all desktops and penetrating windows in higher layers, and it's awesome! :-D

Ah, the thin line between bug and feature... A real freaky idea would be to leave this bug as an option (perhaps with an alpha fading), but I see that it is not realistic. Has given me some nice laughs though.

It's a bit 50/50 when the Flash video supercedes the global white layer and when it's the black layer. I don't know which one is my favourite, they both have their advantages ;-)

You question sounds like a sick joke: the mentioned overlay issue happens for me with all 10.2.x/10.3.x Adobe Flash releases and all NVIDIA drivers versions (I'm using Mozilla Firefox 4).

No it's not actually, since he posted no such info and since this does not happen in Opera or Chrome.
