Default GTX460 or save up for GTX 560 TI

Ok well my new GTX 275 went out, and my buddy cant warranty it like he claimed its BFG yay so im screwed and I went and bought a cheap used 6800GT PCIe on craigslist for 15 bucks to tie me over till monday aka payday.

So ill have enough for a GTX460, but if i wait another 2 weeks I can get a GTX 560 TI, but is 2 weeks with a 6800GT worth the extra preformance. Please note i was very happy with my GTX 275, it did GTAIV just fine which is also my most stressful game.

The GTX 560 TI is a far superior card. I would say endure it for a couple weeks, and then you will be much happier.

The GTX 460 is only a little bit faster than the GTX 275. However, the GTX 560 TI is significantly faster. That's why you should wait.

For 2 weeks? I would do it in a heart beat.

Call it a "vacation" from gaming.

Get out those old copies of Doom 3, Far Cry, Unreal Tournament 2003/2004, Half-Life 2, etc. Relive the past.

Absolutely. The 560 is much better. If you get the 460 now, you'll regret that you didn't wait in 2 weeks time.

With some overclocking it can probably come close to the GTX 480 heh.
