Hi *,
I've had the following problem for sometime now, after loading up fluxbox using the usual startx command, I can't CTRL+ALT+Fn back to another vty. If I attempt to switch to another virtual terminal or logout X the monitor goes into suspend. The system is still responsive, I can restart remotely or use the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combo. Attached are two runs of nvidia-bug-report.sh one after I logout of X and one while there is an X session running. I'm running two near identical systems uname -a: Code:
FreeBSD direwolf 9.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT #1 r212530M: Mon Sep 13 12:08:21 WST 2010 agh@direwolf:/usr/obj/depot/fbsd-head/sys/DIREWOLF amd64 Both systems exhibit the same problem. |

Sorry for the double post, but I can't seem to edit my earlier post (web browser just gets stuck loading).
I just noticed something. If I logout of X I can still log back into X even with the suspended monitor. X seems to load up again OK and I get my desktop back. Still no vtys thou. |

I'm seeing the same issue on my box. FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE running nvidia-driver-195.36.15
with a GeForce 8600 GTS video card. With me, I notice that it doesn't happen right away, but eventually I can't get my vtys anymore. |

Any change you could generate a NVIDIA bug report?

This blank vty problem doesn't appear to be an issue with 9.0-CURRENT -r216813
