I am running a system with Ubuntu Natty, and whenever I try to start the X server with nvidia installed I get a segfault. I tried it with the latest Xserver in Ubuntu, and I also tried compiling the rc2 version. Both produce the same segfault. I attached the nvidia-bug-report.log file.

The X server ABI wasn't frozen until 1.9.99.902 (a.k.a. 1.10 RC 2), which was just released. I'll try to get official support for the new ABI in a driver release as soon as possible.

So this crash is caused by the ABI mismatch?
Thanks for the quick reply! |

RC2 is now uploaded to Natty and I can confirm that the driver is broken.
