Default HDD UPgrade is is worth it? 5400 vs 7200

Simple question..

My laptop has a 5400rpm drive in it now 320gb I believe.

Would there be a noticeable speed increase if I decide to install a 7200rpm drive?

If so I would stick with a 320gb one.

Just looking for a little more speed out of it if possible, I know there is plenty of various answers on the net but wanted to ask here.

Thanks in advance,

I would go with the 7200rpm drive.
You will get better speed but on the downside you will get a 5-15% hit on battery life...
hope it will help u a lot..
