What cracked me up was the difference in the guy "reviewing" the iPad 2 (he was basically checking it out at the event) and the guy who previewed the Xoom. Honeycomb was fast, innovative and blazing fast. Lots of things running together and apps running in the background (proper backgrounding, not just suspended state), widgets and so forth. It looked fantastically smooth and blazing fast (my personal impressions as well), but Engadget noticed some lag here and there and pointed out the issues. The iPad2 preview? All I heard was the sound of the guy spooging over the device. OMG, ITS SO FAAAAST, GEEZ ITS AMAZINGLY FAAAAST !!! AAAAGGH.. MY PANTS... I JUST SPOOGED MY PANTS AND I'VE NEVER SPOOGED SO FAAAAST!!!!! ![]() |

Also, there were was a deal where the Xoom's were selling for about 20% off. My friend bought one (waiting for it to ship at the moment) and including some accessories, he paid about $600 bucks. I am also very interested in seeing how the new Galaxy Tab does and Dell's new 10" tablet. I haven't had a chance to get my hands on the new Tab yet, but the new Dell Tablet felt very good and has a great form-factor. Seemed a little smaller overall than the Xoom, but not sure about the final specs ![]() Currently thought, Xoom > all other released products. However, the Blackberry Playbook is looking VERY intriguing. |

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/expired-deals/1077483/ I think Motorola meant it to be for accessories only, but when my buddy went through and put everything together and purchased it and it only added up to about $600, he bought it ![]() -edit- Also Jha is on board as saying there will be an 8" version which will be cheaper and that by Q2, or H2 of this year we should see lower prices all around as component costs decrease. |

That's pretty stupid, why not just give it an HDMI-D port? Even the Evo and the Droid X have one, and they're much smaller.
