Seeing those screens has me longing for a new Blade Runner game. Oh imagine that on that engine... in 3D. Oooo!

Doesnt look any special to me. Tho UE3 is great engine if used right. See Gears of war2, Mirrorse Edge, Bioshock, Batman or Enslaved.
Some UE3 games doenst look and feel the same(not much) DNF is using UE 2,5 recoded by 3drealms and polished by gearbox. Hope it will not ffel like Bulletstorm etc |

Not impressed by the screens. I want high res textures up close on everything, then I might get impressed.

Ok I changed my mind after watching video... OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn thats incredible. It isnt such a jump in gfx as the first UE3 demonstration was (that over 10min video before gears of war was announced- that was crazy and those are now common graphics)
I bet next generation will look even better than this. But we will need to wait for next consoles to arrive (proboably around 2-3 years) to make it happen. Also i bet 100% that this is a video of a game being in development right now, which will be released in3 or more years from now. The same was with mentioned earlier UE3 video. It contained gears of war esque buildings and characters... after that it was announced as Gears of War. So if that happens again, we might see nice blade runner art game coming in fututre. |

btw. Some screenshots of CONSOLE game done with UE3, just as a counterattack to those who are saying UE3 is crappy or whatever.
Screens does not do a justice. Cutscenes(realtime) in Enslaved are incredible (btw If You own a console, don't miss this game) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, the detail is nice but the fidelity looks rubbish. Consoles have always been able to do good character models because of their polygon power. I like the UE3 myself and there are good parts to UT3.
