Sorry about that.
I'll try that since I may even rotate the splash screens (woohoo!). But I infer from your replies that it's not possible to change the default splash screen (no one has confirmed or denied this).

u can use yanc , yet another nvidia configurator, works fine in gui interfaces for nvidia driver settings
