1 - It's fast, as in "very".

2 - I like the ActiveX filtering, tracking protection, site pinning feature etc.

I know many of the features are also available with FF, but I like IE's cleaner interface and the lack of a bloated feeling while browsing.

I still like FF, but I'm really glad I gave IE9 a fair shake, as I'm a former IE hater...
I just tried it tonight for the heck of it..but curious...how do you fix the font issue?

It looks horrible the way fonts are rendered on many pages?

I made sure cleartype is enabled and set IE9 to software rendering instead of hardware.

Haven't had any issues since.

Thanks I tried that did not fix it.

It weird I had the same issue with Firefox when I upgraded my video drivers.

since then reverted my drivers and reverted FF back to 3.6

I am wondering if i upgrade my drivers will now fix it in IE9.

I am only guessing.

Oh, I'm not sure if it will or not. I knew a few people, myself included, had issues with fuzzy looking font in IE, so just figured it was the same thing you were looking at.

I do know Nvidias latest releases haven't been very good, so it may be worth a try. I'm still running a set from 3 releases ago.
