I opened the dev console and tried typing in the R_Glow=0 command and it said it's unrecognized. From what I gather, they all worked in the leaded version but not the retail one. ![]()

What if you just add those lines to the config file you posted? Should be able to append r_glow=0 to the end of the document and it might fix the issue.

no i tried that. it doesn't work. those console commands no longer function either via the cfg or manually typing them into the console during game play.

I'm liking the multiplayer a lot... Part of that may be that I haven't played much COD since COD4 came out, but the big jumps and being able to move vertically so quickly adds a lot, as does constantly having to think about whether to be cloaked or armored or neither. And it runs really smoothly (prob getting 40-55 fps in multi, 55-60 in single player on the highest settings with 4xaa and vsync at 1280x1024).
As far as single player is concerned, the ai is still as retarded as it was in the first. At least the aliens are exciting to play against. But I did play ~3 hours and will probably finish it whereas I dunno if I played more than an hour of the original before getting bored/annoyed. Overall, a much more fun game than the first. Maybe a worse benchmark for bringing your system to your knees if thats what you wanted to pay for ಠ_ಠ btw, downloaded from amazon for $52 and they give you a $15 coupon to use later on a video game purchase

Bulletstorm was a real shocker for me. The best and most awesome use of the UE3 yet. Amazing level design and graphics.

Anyone else experiencing a rather significant lag between the button press and the actual jump in the game?

Hmm, tried the jump command with both the keyboard and the mouse. What could be the issue then?

Welp, looks like someone has managed to crack/decrypt the CRY files that come with the retail version. Looks like any info on it is being deleted on the Crymod forums though since it's technically a violation of the EULA.
Crytek may as well just give the modding community what it wants because it's apparently clear that the community will simply take it anyways whether crytek wants them to or not.
