Tried the older driver and it seems to work, now i notice a definate difference when enabling hq textures and the whole game just looks... well ,just better overall, higher fidelity. Not sure why it didn't work with the newer drivers and it still doesn't look as good as slawters/marcelus but most of that is due to the lower res and a bit more brightness. Happier with it now
Thx for the tip grey

Thanks Perhaps now you can understand why i didn't think crysis 2 looked that good. The game told me everything was enabled and it wasn't until i saw your's and marcelus screens i understood that it didn't work properly

Oh noes, i've gotten the crash bug Now and again during gameplay the game has chrashed, especially when reaching a checkpoint. I played the mission were the primary is to mark the targets below a building for incoming bomber targets and went out on the ledge, turned on the visor to mark and boom it crashed "crysis 2 has stopped responding" and now when i resume the game it crashes everytime, allmost instantly. Searched for a sollution but had no luck, anyone else affected by this ?

Wow, I just gave my self a 50% peformance boost! I had vsync on, and apparently in DX11 mode it limits me to 30fps. I just figured DX11 was causing that big of a performance hit, but with vsync off I average 45fps, and that's with DX11, Hires textures, 16xAF, and Ultra set on everything but water and shading, which I leave at Extreme.

I'm really impressed with the peformance of this game, considering it looks so much better than the first Crysis. I didn't expect my 560ti would handle it so well, and I'd say it's by far the best looking game out there. I just love the intensity of the visuals.
