I'm going to stay with my "old" case. So far, it's doing good.

EDIT: Also, I'm not a big Lian Li fan....

Just curious, is it a cooling issue or just time for a change? If I weren't selling my gaming rig I would probably be all over that Silverstone that GreedoMeth posted.

I say if Doc wants a new case he should go for one.. Even maximumpc rated this case good.
http://www.maximumpc.com/article/rev..._obsidian_800dWonder why they didn't see any of these air cooling issues. I was thinking of getting this case.

Time for a change. I wanted a case where I can easily manage cables, and still have plenty room to install hardware....

It's a mid tower. With my stuff, I would need a full tower...

Just joking bro, I have a decent idea of the case style you like.

I do love the looks of the Fortress though. If (when?) I build my next rig I'll likely grab one.

why? not enough bling bling? I have Element S, a slightly better version of Element V (Value) for my server. S is the best of the Element series and it still looks feels cheap, but much better then all the cooler master junk I seen and used.

there is also Element G (gamer)

Silverstone and Lian-Li are simply the top of the line, there is nothing better. Silverstone is usually overpriced for what you get. Lian-Li (avoid Lancool, Lian-Li cheaper "consumer" brand) simply the best.

I actually wanted to buy that Silverstone for a while, but it simply wouldn't work for me. Case opens from the right (when you look at front). Would make a window useless, and every time I would need to open the case I would have to drag the PC from under the desk. Since the right side is blocked. On the inside is pretty much the same like Raven 2, but it is not ugly on the outside like Raven, Raven are one of the most ugly cases I ever seen, cheapass plastic.

All due respect to raven owners - first time I saw one all I could think was

It does. That's the kicker for someone looking to save a few bucks though. Today's styles wrap around some very functional chassis, but man are they fugly.

Loving Lian Li these days as they release affordable but very slick and stylish cases without giving up on quality.
