This is probably LCD with LED back lighting or edge lighting. It does FULL HD, so I may just get it to replace my Samsung 3D 120hz monitor. It seems as though this monitor will in fact support NVIDIA 3D Vision, but best to wait and see.

Don't everyone reply at once now! lol

It seems this is an LED monitor and FULL HD with 120Hz. I'll be buying it for sure. My current monitor will replace my mom's old 5:4 Samsung monitor.

Dude, LG's site lists it as an IPS monitor!
Key Features
SUPER LED Backlighting
IPS
Full HD 1080p
TruMotion 120Hz
5M:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
2 HDMI™ Inputs
Picture In Picture Multitasking
Energy Star Qualified

I'm stunned at the price/features ratio.

Even better!

LG monitors look much better than Samsung anyhow. I was comparing a LG monitor next to my Samsung and the colors on the LG were much more natural.

Does this mean it can be used in 3d vision?

All 120 hz monitors are. TVs that are 120 hz are actually 60 hz with added frames, so those don't count.

I don't see it on the compatibility list in NVIDIA's 3D vision site. Nor i this monitor mentioned in 3dvision blog..so I am curious

The TruMotion part makes me wonder if it's real.

Me too, since that's exactly what TruMotion is. It interpolates frames. If it were a 120Hz 3D monitor, then it would advertise it as such.

Seconded. The wording makes me think of a 60Hz monitor interpolated.
Also, IPS tends to have slower refresh than TN. Not sure it can reach 120Hz that cheap...
