havent played the first one, but real interested in the second one, since it is supposed to have a plot. Is there any combat involved or is it just a puzzle based game like world of goo or something?

I was having some issues with it hanging.. so I uninstalled it. The uninstaller from the start menu gets done and says... "Postal 2 has been uninstalled". I sat there looking at the screen for about 2 mins thinking... Postal 2? I haven't had Postal 2 installed on here, this is a clean install as of last week. Crazy that they have a typo in their uninstaller... just more proof to the console port rush.
....anyways I reinstalled it and problems fixed. |

Beat the singleplayer. Great game, loved the writing and Steve Merchant owned. Played a little bit of coop with a random... seems like a blast and I love that you can look through their point of view.

Really loving it here too. Havn't finished it yet, I am taking my time and looking at everything.
I hear alot of reviewers knocking the engine now and stuff but imo I havn't seen the source engine look this good before. The shadows and lighting are top notch, and I don't feel like the game is using lame tricks or shortcuts on lighting. Also the game defauled with 4x aa and AF, I rarly run games with either but I opted to this time and its still smooth as butter. Also this game gives me a much better sense of scale that most other games don't come close to. The way the game has you get used to the enclosed rooms and then suddenly when you glimpse the outer workings of the facility, you realize just how small you are.

After reading all over about how it's a console port. I won't buy. The PC gamers need to stand up against this ****.

Just finished single player and it was well worth the $45. Got right at 7 hours or so, plus a great story and ending. Graphics are superb and everything has depth/detail to it. The ONLY thing that I hate about this game is the whole "have to load each level". It's not real continuous and it sucked. Other than that, it was a great PC game. |
