i never found it repetetive...other than the obvious...go to area..solve...move to next area....but i already knew that was how this game is going to be...

really enjoying it so far. the puzzles aren't super challenging, but challenging enough to be rewarding when you solve them.

Started playing through the game again today. Never noticed that the human testing capsules had a sticker on the side that marked what the capsule "held"; male, female, short, tall, etc.

Yeah, the story is really what the game is all about. That's why I said that without it, it's an average puzzle game. The scenes without any dialogue or story in them aren't nearly as fun IMO.

It's a good game, you'll be glad you finished it just for how it all plays out. I'm glad it only cost me $35, though, because after it was all over I didn't give it a second thought and there is zero replay value. I actually had more fun playing through the MK single player story, and it was actually longer.

Half of the scenes in that video aren't even in the game...at least not the single-player. And the voice is the same guy just not all dubbed up and pretty.

This is actually a very good point. There is absolutely no replay value to the single player unless you are a very big fan of the voice acting and the story and wish to replay for that. It's kind of like watching The Usual Suspects.

Oh and I really need to get MK, it looks incredible!

some of the puzzles are a bit tricky tho...

if u guys haven't tried co-op yet..u should give it a shot, it s alot more challenging as the puzzles are twice as hard...it is easy early on, but as u get into the later levels it gets challenging!..

in single player the room with the 3 lasers/2 directional laser cubes had me for ages!...

co-op, 3-last level was also tricky...took us a while to figure it out lol....that one was the hardest so far...

Played a couple more hours yesterday...

HOLY PLOT TWIST BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I think I'm nearing the end. Cave Johnson's dialog bits were hilarious. Beard Dirt... WTF?! HAHAH!

Anyways, It seems like they may be delaying EP3 in order to shovel some extra lore into the whole Half life story before EP3 closes it all out. There were a few nuggets of story in there that tied in well with the black mesa drama and overall HL story.

Finished this up today, yeah, the dialogue and plot are the real gems in this game.

I've been really tough to please lately regarding games, but I have to say this one is worth it, and I haven't even played the co-op yet.

My wife dislikes video games and even she couldn't help but LOL at quite a bit throughout this one.

Good time it was
