Default Colour instability with Quadro NVS 140M when compositing with OpenGL in KDE4.4

Greetings,

I'm running Opensuse 11.3 on my Dell D830 equiped with a Quadro NVS 140M and I am experiencing a psychidelic effect when enabling the KDE4 desktop effects : All colours of the sreen suddenly change and with every move of the mouse the underlying region's coulour changes. While moving the mouse the screen flickers too. While nice as an effect, it makes working like this unfeasable.
The desktop effects seem to work though.
My NVidia driver setup works correctly otherwise, speed is good and apart from not being able to use the desktop effects, the rest is ok.

Included are the nvidia debug report and 2 screenshots (one with the normal colourscheme and one with the caleidoscope of colours).

Some quick version information.:
cpu Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz
kernel 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop
xorg 7.5-1.9
x11-video-nvidiaG02-260.19.44-24.1.i586
Flatpanel is a Seiko/Epson

Probably this symptom will ring a bell with some experts.

Cheers,
Guy.

All,

I discovered that this phenomena appears when activating KDE's desktop effect that has to do with desktop accentuation which is on by default oddly. I can live without it certainly now it screws up my colours. I just installed driver 270.41.03, no problems yet.
