VMWare ppt 2010 message to toolbox-dnd timed out

we use a Redhat EL V5.6 , Graphics is Quadro 3800, nv driver is 260.19.36, and are running vmware player 314 with new vmware tools ( windows xp - fully patched ).

3D support by dxdiag runs ok

Calling powerpoint 2010 and starting presentation ( F5 ) on a 10 slide pptx leads to a hanging vmware.

Network to vmware is interuppted and re-joins after 2-3 min.

This is seen also with vmware workstation and in combination with newer beta drivers 270...

This NEVER occured with office/pppt 2003

Are there any hints regarding office 2010 / nvidia+vmplayer-linux
