Firefox + Launchpad = Slow compiz

With page https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...dm/+bug/247910 opened and active in Firefox Tab
Compiz semitransperent effects (window minimize for exaple) slowdown as ~2-3 fps with _any_ opened program
Switching to another tab, changing focus or close problematic page fixes the problem

ArchLinux 2.6.38.3
Linux 2.6.38-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Apr 17 15:18:58 CEST 2011 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

nVidia 270.41.03 drivers
compiz 0.8.6
firefox 4.0
cpu usage ~2-4% with active problematic tab
cpu usage ~20% with another tab active and problematic opened on inactive page

any help wanted!

Firefox rendering problem which hogs Xorg because of software fallback rendering. This in turn makes Compiz effects slow if Firefox window is visible. I've observed this many times.
