I switched from a large map to a small map. MUCH easier. You get ore way faster. And a small map is still pretty freakin' huge.

My biggest complaint right now is there's not enough content. After 24 hours I have pretty much beat the game. I have all the NPCs. I beat all three bosses. Beat the dungeon. Have the best armor and weapons. The only thing left for me to do is pimp my house out. This game could be feakin' AMAZING if they just added in a little more content. More biomes. More NPCs. More bosses. More stuff to customize your house. More types of weapons, ore, and armor. Would be nice if there were other towns. Underwater civilizations etc.

The "old man" was the hardest fight in the game. Wasn't able to beat him until I had the best armor and weapons. And if you are getting pissed off by slimes and demon eyes.... lol... you need better gear. Once you get gold armor/weapons those guys become easy as pie... The enemies at the end game are MUCH MUCH harder.

I kind of like the "no leveling" system. Basically armor and weapons are the "leveling" in this game. Once you get the high tier armor and weapons the game becomes a cake walk. I can beat the first two bosses without even chugging a health potion.

Oh and there is a way to change the spawn point. It's actually quite easy, but I don't want to spoil it for you.

Agreed. I started a new small map and it's a lot easier. I'm a little lazy lol.

It won't be long until new content comes along! But geez, you've already got everything? Geez, I'm still at iron/gold level equipment. Guess I need to play more.

Haha, here I am about to square off again that old geezer with crappy gear lol. Guess I'd better back off. The thing I HATE about the gold sword it that the attack action is just straight forward, not the usual action. But isn't there two different swords? I'll have to look more.

Hmm, maybe the game creator will add a lot of content soon.

So I read on the wiki lol. It is very easy. And here I thought the silk/cobwebs were just pointless.

That is a shortsword. Which is totally pointless. Get the broadsword. It probably took 1-2 more gold bars than you had so it didn't show up on the crafting menu. And the late game weapons have even better attack actions that cover even more area.

I finally digged around, found more gold and got the gold broadsword and pants. Much better than the shortsword! I'm hoping to dig around a little more and start getting better items. Wish I had the dedicated time to play.

Finally got some time to spend some hardcore time in this game. I'm finally getting to the point to where I'm spending a lot of time in "hell". I got to spend a lot of time in the Underground Jungle, get some cool gear and now I'm trying to get a lot of hellstone. This video is quite interesting, I'll post more later:

I haven't played in a bit and the new patch is nice because I can run it at 1920x1200. It looks awesome.

My character is pretty badass. A buddy and I have a server setup where we have about 12 chests full of loot lol. We have like 100 of each bar (gold, silver, copper, iron, hellstone, meteroite, etc.) and a bunch of sweet items and armor/guns.

If you get enough raw materials, the first things you should get are a phaseblade and a decent gun.

I've kitted my character out with the mage hat that the rarespawn mage guy drops (His names like Tim or Tom or something) and a mage robe to cover up my armor in the social slot.

Max mana and mana rings and every cool spell me and my friends have found so far. I give them all of the melee gear and they give me the spells/mage stuff.

That demon scythe spell is so OP in PVP.
