bare bones sound card would be an interesting product,The general public like things simplified, Would zif sockets degrade sound quality?

Hmm interesting, haven't seen a ZIF socket since my Pentium Pro days. Think that was ZIF socket 8 from memory?

Umm no idea if it would degrade sound quality but with PCIexpress I can't see it ever coming back for sound devices, but you never know lol
