Wow! I just got to play with a production model and holy crap is it awesome! The form factor is perfect, it has some heft to it but feels completely solid. The device is also FAST, I was able to browse and jump between menus perfectly.
Really excited about the device, might finally have a good iPad competitor. |

Looks cool but it is only slightly bigger than my Evo phone. I don't understand why the small size for the same price as a lager tablet.

While it might only be just under 3" larger then the evo, the resolution of the screen is a huge improvement as is the hardware under the screen. I personally love the 7" form factor. I prefer it over the 10". Just feels more comfortable holding it in one hand.

Don't get me wrong. I like what I see here, except for the size. |

Is it faster than your Tab?

Can't say since I don't have a Xoom nor does AT&T carry them but for what I can remember when I did play with a Xoom the Playbook felt a lot smoother. I mean I was able to jump out of an app instantly and even run a game in a minimized window while continue to navigate the OS on the playbook without any hitching.
All I can say is that the Playbook was the smoothest Tab experience I have had since the iPad and considering that it will run Blackberry and Android apps without an issue it will be the Tab to have if you want a 7" form factor one. |

It doesn't feel like a blackberry product at all. The OS is 100% new and feels smooth. The way you minimize and pull up settings is very WebOS like.
