pfft.. what ever logical. The unreal engine 3 is one of the best out there. Take a look at the tech demos. Epic can't help that people still suck at making games.

tech demo's are easier to make than games and my point is there is already LOADS of FPS games that use unreal engine 3 and they all look the same...ish.

Time for something new because UE3 is showing its age.

Who cares what a game looks like (to some extent) if it plays well? And I'll take good art direction over cutting edge engines any day of the week.

This game does kind of look like **** though. LOL

It's probably something similar to America's Army here in the US. It will be used as a recruiting tool, although the video makes it look like its being used as a training tool. It would be interesting to play, if just to get a more realistic sense of how the PLA is. The only other portrayal I've seen in video games of the PLA was in Operation Flashpoint 2.

Epic did cut corners on some of the effects because of consoles that's for sure but it still has some of the best texturing and performance out there for an engine. Bulletstorm blows away more newer games in the graphics department and the editor is superb.

FALSE. The unreal 3 engine much like source, is continuously evolving. New graphical features and optimizations are being added to it every year. That shiat you saw in rainbow los vagas is not quite the same as say, bullet storm.

Latest demo

DX11 is just soooo much better than DX10 it's not even funny. It will allow developers to do effects a lot quicker using tessellation to achieve an effect. Epic know what they're doing and I don't blame them for not supporting DX10.

I'm hoping for UT4+DX11
