One think I can say about Duke Nukem is that is has never crashed on me... can't say that about 90% of the games that released in the last 10 years. |

It's a common ad hominem commonly employed, ironically, by immature people.

I like this game more now that I got it running on all 3 monitors. I must say, driving the Mighty Foot monster truck is more fun than ANY vehicle from the Half-Life series

I just bought it yesterday. Big Duke Nukem fan here.
When I first played the original I was using a flight joystick. I played online over a WAN called DWANGO. I got my arse kicked by someone using a mouse. That forced me to use a mouse. Also Duke 3D is the first PC game I ever paid for. Before that I would borrow or pirate. Anyway, I'm enjoying it. I'm probably only at the first level and played it for about an hour. I started on the hardest difficulty setting. It brings back the old days when people enjoyed playing games instead of nitpicking and criticizing every little thing. It's nice to play an FPS that's not yet another military-style realistic shooter.

It might be a bit frustrating on the hardest difficulty due to some fights but whatever.

I played this and finished it in one night. Not worth the asking price on AU Steam, but I had fun, it's not deserving of the bad press it's getting. Especially the far superior PC version.
I guess it's a game for fans of Duke only. For me I was like watching the Johnny Bravo cartoon. You either get the humour or not. I love how much of a Dumbass Duke is, it's like he really struggles, but makes it anyway. Actually if you are a fan of The Bigman you'll enjoy this game : : |

On that note I've been looking for a fun shoot and run shooter to replace Painkiller... and before that Doom
