Exclamation System freezes after upgrading Xorg server to 1.10

After upgrading Xorg server to version 1.10 I stated experiencing screen flickering and frequent freezes, especially when using KDE4 with compositing enabled.
Most crashes occur when maximizing windows.
The whole system is dead, you cannot even move the mouse.

nv driver work fine.
Also installing old Xorg version 'solves' the problem.

Driver: 270.41.19
GPU: GeForce 8600 GT
OS: Debian Wheezy 7.0 (testing)

can you switch to a VT via CTRL-ALT-F1..F6? if so, can you read http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46678 and generate a good report with the debug ( -logverbose 6 ) info as instructed after the issue appears ?

There was a change to the X server recently that makes it call into the driver recursively in a way that the driver doesn't handle very well. We're working on a fix.
