Join NVIDIA for the GPU Technology Summit in Israel
Hey Israel, get ready to host the first international GPU Technology Summit (GTS) in Tel Aviv.
NVIDIA's annual GPU Technology Conference, in San Jose, Calif., has been so successful in the rapidly growing GPU ecosystem that we've taken it global with a series of international mini-conferences. The first two were in Singapore and Taipei, with others planned for Tokyo and Beijing.
The next event takes place on Monday, May 30th, when NVIDIA kicks off the GTS at Tel Aviv's Hilton Hotel. Over the course of one very full day, we're bringing together scientists, researchers, developers, entrepreneurs, press, analysts and others for a first-hand look at the latest and greatest in GPU technology. Participants will rub elbows with an exceptionally focused community of attendees and speakers, ranging from start-up CEOs to the NVIDIA team responsible for driving the GPU revolution.
What to expect
At the GTS, you'll have a chance to learn about advances in GPU computing and explore the latest research and commercial applications. We'll have focused sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics, including:
You'll also have a chance to win an HP EliteBook 8560W Mobile Workstation. Check in at our registration booth at the show and attend the closing session for the opportunity to win a new HP EliteBook 8560W Mobile Workstation
Whether you're a seasoned CUDA developer or just getting your feet wet with the GPU-optimized CUDA environment, GTS will feature CUDA developer tracks to fit your level of expertise. We'll have on hand Shmulik Rippa (algorithm group manager and Orbotech Fellow at Orbotech), Michael Kagan (CTO at Mellanox), Eri Rubin (project manager and senior R&D software developer, Optitex), Anton Obukhov (technology engineer at NVIDIA), and Timo Stitch (technology engineer at NVIDIA) to talk CUDA throughout the day.
CEOs on Stage
We'll also highlight how many small, medium and large high-tech companies are looking to leverage GPU technologies. Over the course of the day, we'll feature 'CEOs on Stage,' where CEOs from start-ups will get the chance to spend 15 minutes introducing their companies and getting advice from a panel of experts. Panel members include Jon Peddie (Jon Peddie Research), Eyal Niv (managing director at Giza Venture Capital) and Shai Dekel (chief scientist at GE Healthcare). Start-ups like MiniFrame, Mirriad, OptiTex, Pawlin, Rocketick, SightEra and more will be showing off their goods.
Investors, press, analysts
For those interested in what investors, press and analysts have to say about the GPU space, check out our panel of industry experts, including Jon Peddie, Eyal Niv and Aaron Mankovski (managing general partner at Pitango)
Closing session: The role of the GPU in modern computing
After a full day of networking, learning, and talking shop with other GPU enthusiasts, we'll close with a must-see panel focused on just one question: How is GPU technology changing the computing industry?
This panel, entitled 'The Role of the GPU in modern computing', will be moderated by Jeff Herbst (VP of business development at NVIDIA), with panelists Jon Peddie, Lev Brodsky (tech manager at HP), Avi Mendelson (manager of programs for academic relations and research relations at Microsoft), Uri Tal (CEO at Rocketick), and David Kirk (NVIDIA Fellow).
