can't use nvidia driver

Hi,

I've recently bought a ASUS - U31Jg laptop. It has nvidia GeForce GT 415M card. I've install Ubuntu 11.04 on this machine. Problem is I am not able to use nvidia drivers. If I try to boot with xorg.conf generated by nvidia-xconfig, then X doesn't start. Xorg.0.log says:

(EE) : No devices detected.

can someone please help me with the problem.

check in the bios which video card is used by default I see you have Graphics Processor / Vendor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 415M / Intel HD Graphics. So maybe the default one is intel.
