Default ASUS PA246Q?

If I want to take full advantage of the ASUS PA246Q, I should use the displayport rather than DVI, yes?

it's only 1920x1200 @ 76Hz max, so a dual-link DVI should be able to send all the signal needed.
I guess the array of connectors is more for convenience.

If your video card has a display port, by all means, use it. They even give you the cable (rather rare lately).

I have this monitor in my cart right now.... If only it wasn't so ugly.

*update* Decided to buy it. Should be in tomorrow. I've heard the red line isn't as distracting in person. I hope that's the case.
