"To help us experience console-crippled games at high resolutions, EVGA has developed a GeForce GTX 570 card which boasts double the usual amount of on-board memory (2560MB), as well as four video outputs -dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort."

Can you use 3 our 4 of them in SLI?
If so I can see no reason to buy the 1.5gb 580 or even the 3gb one. For $200+ less per gpu you would get nearly the same performance in surround as a 3gb 580, and would also be able to drive high resolutions unlike the 590 or 580. |

This card is BADASS. Very nice to see NVIDIA OEMs putting out cards at 1.25, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3GB, people can tailor their purchases to their display needs.
For all 3 panel solutions below 75X16, two of these are the new rig of choice.

I'm glad to see EVGA branching out into the double RAM cards, and hope more manufacturers follow in EVGA, Palit, and Gainward's footsteps.

I would like to see vid cards where you can insert as much ram as you want, like CPU ram.

There was one company that did an innovative step by offering the flexibility to upgrade their ram --- product like the Matrox G-200 back in the day!
