I tried reinstalling and playing The Witcher again a few days ago and couldn't make it past the prologue. I don't know why I can't get into that game but it just bores me immediately.

Yeah, there are some boring stretches, but the game as a whole really hooked me.

Back OT though, every video I've seen of Skyrim just screams "Too good to be true", but I'm willing to pay the cash to find out for myself - something about dragons in a game. I'm a sucker for them

No kidding. I'm trying to remind myself of all the pre-release hype for Oblivion and how (at release anyway) disappointed I was with the final product. But I keep watching the videos and forgetting about that as soon as I see the new character models (they look like real people now!) and combat gameplay.

Just finished the main quest in Oblivion a few days ago, going through now just doing side quests, the expansions, etc. Still love that game, and know I'll love this one.

As a whole this is actually a very exciting year for me regarding gaming. More than one title that I'm *really* looking forward to. Some not due out till next year of course but still. Last time I was this excited regarding gaming was... goodness, probably 5 years ago.

I used Oblivion XP. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15619

It's best if you stick to the official quests and expansions. Although there is a list of supported mods.

Oh hell yeah I've played some Demon's Souls. Which reminds me, I'm really looking forward to Dark Souls too.
