Default Shadowing unavailable around window - 275.09.07

The shadow around a window isn't available after a reboot from 270.41.06 to 275.09.07 on my desktop.

I've had the same issue with all the 275.XX drivers when running compiz.

I might have related issue:
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...83&postcount=1

Sometims window border doesn't get updated (colors and window name, both) and if so, dragging another window over it, will cause the inactive border to slowly repaint.
Repainting occurs at distance from window where shadow seems to be - so it is
somehow related to shadows.
