NICE mullet! I have a cart full myself, but not pulling the trigger yet.

Just curious why you're going for the P67 instead of the Z68. I've been going back and forth between this Asus Z68 and a similarly featured Gigabyte board.

Not trying to change your mind, just curious.

the 2 minimal features that were in the new chipset weren't anything I was interested in. 1 of the features had to do with ivy bridge onchip video and the other was using small SSD's with HDD for caching for those folks that need a lot of HDD space. They say the new Z68 is ivy bridge compatible but I would just get a new board and CPU then just getting a new CPU.

COOL mullet. Pretty close to the system I just put together. We should play Dragon Age Legends together to test our TEH POWAH!

I'm still going to hold off on upgrading until later this year. I'm waiting for the dust to settle a little more between AMD/Intel.

@Doc

You've already got a decent i7. An upgrade to a 2600K wouldn't be very dramatic. Even going from a Q6600 to my 2600 wasn't night and day across the board. (Even though it made a world of difference in Eclipse)

Yea, that's another thing that I'm contemplating. My system I have is already a beast, which means that I may wait until next year to upgrade.
