Default modeline issue with 3d tv

I have a 3D tv with a curious modeline problem.

The tv edid reports, and I'm using the following modeline under linux:

"1366x768" 85.50 1366 1436 1579 1792 768 771 774 798 +hsync +vsync

Under Linux (opensuse 11.4) and windows 7 (set to 1366x768 resolution):

Using a variety of ATI cards, a 3d interleaved youtube video plays fine.

Using a 285, 460 and 580 nvidia card and the nouveau driver, a 3d interleaved youtube video plays fine.

Using a 285, 460 and 580 nvidia card and the NVIDIA driver, the 3d youtube video doesn't work.

The nvidia driver ( various versions 270.x, 275.x) seems to be doing "something" to the signal, even though the X server under linux and windows report that the same modeline is being used. I've used a variety of tools to confirm this.

Default Re: modeline issue with 3d tv

Further tests show that the problem does not exhibit with analog output using a dvi-vga adapter.

Digital DVI and miniHDMI both exhibit the problem.
