Ya I'm using it right now
![]() Nothing really to take pictures of though as my setup is a little atypical. I'll try my best though and I'm not any good at photography at all: When I sit at my "computer", this is what I sit at: Everything from the closet is wired through the wall to the TV, which is my only monitor, and a USB hub for quick connections, along with an infrared retransmitter sitting to the left of the center speaker. My "desk" isn't quite what you'd describe as a desk: Logitech k800, g700, h760, and harmony 650 My computer doesn't even sit in my room, it sits in a walk in closet, along with my A/V receiver, my tivo, some clothes, etc:

It just seems most people latch onto the GUI as being the sole benefit. |

I gave her 10 dollars. Don't go and spend it all in one place now.

Why? It does exactly what its supposed to do, I don't really see any improvement I'd gain by using something else.

My new setup is failing the 24 hour burn in, I haven't had a whole lot of time to mess with it, but I've tried exchanging the CPU today (the memory works great though, overclocks to 8-8-8-24 and memtest ran 12 passes with no errors) and the problem still persists. That leaves potentially the motherboard as being defective, but I'm holding out on replacing it (because it's a huge pain in the ass to replace.)
One thing I am noticing though, is that both the old CPU and the new one peak at about 83C while running OCCT. The system could be crashing entirely due to heat issues, and this is without any overclocking of the processor while running on a stock fan. So that said, I'm looking at going with some alternative cooling solution. I noticed Fry's carries this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=corsair%20h70 for $84 That sounds like a good price as I recall water cooling solutions being expensive as hell. That said, I've never used a water cooling system before. Are they high maintenance? Anything I should know about using them? The crash issue *could* also be a rogue driver left over from the last motherboard, as I didn't reformat (waiting til the new SSD gets here before I do that, should be tomorrow or saturday) but I still don't like those temps, they seem too high, and everything is seated correctly. EDIT: Actually http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=corsair%20h60 lists 1155 compatibility specifically, whereas the h70 doesn't, and fry's costs $59. That's cheaper than the big zalman HSF I bought for my last rig. EDIT2: Holy sh*t: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/review...ock-52ghz.html That would be an amazing speed to reach.

What is your case and and how is your ventilation? I had the stock cooler in my hand and I was like WTF is this crap as I shoved back in the box.
