My wife is disabled and wants a low cost laptop to use in bed. She needs a large screen so a netbook is out. What I've been looking at is two Lenovo Laptops at BestBuy. I'm not a laptop guy so I don't know anything about them, anyone have any thoughts on these. We're retired so cost is a big issue, thus the low cost laptops I'm looking at. The keyboard is easy to use on these which is a big concern too. So let me know what you think of these or any options you have. Thanks in advance.

seems to me the second one is slightly better because bigger hard drive. comfort is obviously a huge concern for you, so if possible, try to go into the store and see how the keys feel when you type. other than that, I don't see huge differences. The computer is for general everyday stuff like browsing internet and email?
also, be careful when you are using the laptop in bed, it is very easy to block the cooling vents with soft stuff like blankets. |

Going to recommend you look at DiscipleDoc's sale. The man takes excellent care of his equipment.

Thanks guys. I think the second one is the best too and it's only a few dollars more. I tried out the first one in the store and really liked the keyboard, at least out of the ones that were there. I'm not a laptop guy at all so they're all bad to me. But my wife wants one and it makes sense for her since she's confined to bed most of the time. I don't think I want to buy a used laptop though even if it's been well cared for. I haven't had good luck with used equipment. And the warranty on a new one looks good. I may even pop for the extended warranty. I don't buy them normally but for this it might be a good thing.
