games are only running on 640X480

I HAVE AMD PHENOM(tm) II x4 955, nvidia g force 210, and msi mother board.785g-e53, ddr3 4 gb.problem is all my games are running on 640X480 but when i increase the resolution they become slow.

A GeForce 210 card is not what I would call a real gaming card, so your performance sounds about right. What games are you playing?
