Extra space.

Ok so it was my sons birthday just gone, We got him a Xbox 360 .... One of the new black slimline ones ... The problem is its only got a 4GB internal HDD.

Ive noticed there's a slot to add a larger HDD .... What kind of HDD would i need for the 360? I mean is there a max size? speed? Would a ordinary SATA HDD work?

Any help is appreciated.

You can. but there is a bit of work to do it, plus it counts as a console mod, IF MS can detect it, they will ban the console. As it's your sons. I wouldn't risk it.

Ahh yeah, After you posted this i looked into it and i would need to hack the HDD .... As you said

... Ive seen a 120GB on ebay for for like £25 in total, Not to bad i suppose.
