It's out now in the App Store. Anybody downloading?

I will be upgrading one of these days but not sure when. $30 is a sweet price.

Personally, I'm sticking with Snow Leopard. Lion tries to be everything for everyone. They really lost focus with this version.

There are lots of little changes that add up nicely. For example, I can finally resize windows from any corner or edge.

I'm actually reinstalling Lion right now on my C2D Hack because I swapped out the 8600GT that was in it for the 6990 I had sitting around.

Sticking with Snow Leopard.

There really isn't any features in Lion that wow me.

...and I really don't want an iOS interface on the desktop. The "Launchpad" is the dumbest feature of all.

Actually... all the "under the hood" features of going from Leopard to Snow Leopard meant more to me, than all of Lion's UI "enhancements".

why would you have to reinstall just for video card swap?

I tried just swapping it out and editing some plist values and changing some kexts, but I couldn't get it working, so I decided to try a complete reinstall. In any event, I couldn't get the 6990 to work.
