Xorg freeze on youtube and popup menu

While watching a youtube video which is hardware accelerated and hardware decoded, i cannot rightclick on it to open the popup menu.
This causes xorg to freeze and output this in kernel messages:

Sometimes it happens to resume after a while, other times it completely locks.

kokoko3k, Please provide some more detailed reproduction steps , which Desktop environment you are using kde/gnome? Does desktop effects/Compiz enabled ?

I'm using archlinux packages, environment is kde 4.6.5 and compositing is disabled.

Please try 280.04 driver that will solve NVRM: Xid (0000:01:00): 56 issue. Also disabling vdpau overlay export VDPAU_NVIDIA_NO_OVERLAY=1 helps.

It doesn't freeze anymore before showing the popup menu, but sometimes now it freezes even before opening the video window.
