Coming up with a great meme that every moron and his brother will use for a decade doesn't make a great game.

Portal is fun, but like you said, over rated.

HL2 -

Alyx with no suit tougher than freeman with suit.

Can't even run without the suit? why?

stuttering on 3 different systems.

can only kill snipers with grenades? Why will only certain weapons damage certain enemies? no good reason.

No hands when picking items up? why?

The constant, non stop NPC chatter. "TO THE ROOF GORDON!" over and over and over and over....

Can't kill NPCs to get them the heck out of your way while trying to fight real enemies..

I could carry on but that's a start.

Oh, Alyx is hot and dog and the striders were cool. I'll give em that.

Alyx is not tougher than Freeman. Why do you think that? She fights alongside him many times, but he always does the insane sh*t.

I personally really enjoyed the the combine radio chatter, and the flat-line "BEEP" when they die. Oh you mean your helpers? meh. I didn't find it that bad, and made you feel like you are not the only one fighting, even if an illusion.

freeman got knocked out with one hit.

Alyx knocked five of them out without firing a single shot.

Alyx>freeman

EDIT: And she knocked em out in less than a minute. Freeman can't even pick up a stick to fight without his suit.

Agree with the HL2 stuff. I enjoyed the game, but it is very overrated. Same goes for Mass Effect 2 and Portal.

Mine is probably my distaste for L4D... I still get bored and play part 2 randomly... but I REALLY think you should be able to aim down sights and the zombies should walk, but whatever :\.

Gaming sin? Buying Mortal Kombat 4. Back in the days when I didn't have access to the Internet, I was mostly reading gaming magazines. Well, Mortal Kombat 4 looked as good as the arcade edition. However, it turned out to be a piece of sh!t port of the PSX version (with hardware acceleration support).

Thank God that now I can play both Mortal Kombat 4 and Mortal Kombat 4 Gold (Dreamcast) via emulators!
