damn firefox keeps messing up. - Page 2

Not so fast on Chrome.

I am getting problems with it, too.

Whenever I have more than 1 tab open, the tab I'm NOT looking at, doesn't finish loading. I only get the header, nothing else. All I have installed is Adblock

any particular sites? mine seem to work ok even if i open all my favorites quickly one after the other...

i noticed on gmail and youtube the little circle regarding status keeps rotating, but the page itself fully loads. i mean only if the tab is loading and you are looking at another one.

I've noticed that for a while, but it doesn't affect anything.

The exact two extensions I needed to switch. Just listing these fore anyone else that is interested.

Adblock Plus For Chrome (Beta) Same authors as the Firefox version, uses Easy List, and works good. (Doesn't feel like a beta)

NotScripts for Chrome Actually works better than NoScripts (after you permanently allow certain ones from your bookmarks). There are two versions... this link is the most updated version by someone that took over the project.

EDIT: Oh... and the little circle still going for a while on some sites, is normal with Ad Blocking.

Also, I found a new NoScripts extension, although I haven't tried it yet:

i like that in firefox, when you started downloading something, a separate small window popped up with all the necessary info about the download. any way to do the same with chrome? I dislike the bar along the bottom and when i drag it out into free space, it just forms a new browser window with the same info. any way to make it smaller? and appear like this automatically.
