Okay I want a 3tb sata drive,

That one but my board doesn't support 6gb/s. Or whatever so I need like a new board or something
If their is somekind of card I can get idk that might be out of the question cuz my 480 with the cooler on it covers both my pci e slots, is their anything else I can get? So I don't have to get a new mobo or w.e?

or can you recomend me a board my cpu is the amd 965 and I have 1066 ddr2 ram, see sig for full details

all the hardrives are compatible (generally), as far as i know. i dont think you would need a new hard drive if it uses the SATA port.
Why do you need 3TB

? I have every movie i love, and every song i have ever heard, and many games and programs, and I still have more then 100gigs left on my 640gig.

Sata3 (6Gb/s) drives are supposed to be backward compatible and should plug on Sata1 (1.5Gb/s) or SATA2 (3Gb) ports without any problem.
Anyway, no hard drive can sustain even the 150MB/s that sata1 delivers... Only SSD get limited by the transfer rate.

If you are going to use that 3tb drive as a boot drive it won't work.
