yeah croteam has always seemed to be pushing the limits of technology with their stuff. I remember when the first SS game came out, they had the most amazing texture detail (hilariously still better than some modern games) and they had that one tech demo level where you could see all the different graphics technology stuff like various shading, lighting, fox, etc that they used in the game. That was one of the coolest things ever.

Was playing SS:SE HD for a while and couldn't help but think I hope they add something in it to spice it up a bit - I used to love this type of run n gun, crazy over the top Doom type games...meh, game tastes may be changing.

awaiting reviews. Honestly too wrapped up in skyrim to care about anything else.

Is it wrong to be more interested in this than Rage and DNF? Something about SS games that kick ass, least the first one anyway.

nothing wrong with that. Croteam have always remained faithful to the tried and true formula that has made their games fun and exciting.
tons and tons and tons of enemies, tons of awesome guns, amazing visuals and what I can only assume to be a good sense of humor to the game. They have no pressure from big name publishers trying to push half assed software out their door and based on what I've seen in the preview videos, they scaled graphics DOWN to consoles rather than the other way around. I'll definately get this one but will probably have to wait until my brother wears out skyrim before I get it as we've enjoyed co-op on all the previous SS games.
