Used to think you were more of an adult than that, thanks for clearing it up.

Show me where.

EDIT: nvm - you won't be able to because it isn't there. I'm not continuing this childish conversation with you, run along now.

Glad you fell into my trap like slaWter, you just proved my point. If anyone has a different opinion than you guys, you just troll and make personal attacks. Add me to the ignore filter if you don't like my opinions or just STFU but no, you just carry on and anyone who does't like the idea of RAGE on Steam must be a troll and be attacked.

You and your thug forum buddies should have your heads banged together and see if any sense comes out of it.

Thanks, $89.99 is pretty damn steep for a PC game so I'm glad I have this option!

This didn't come as much of a surprise to me, as all new Bethesda games are Steamworks titles. Prey 2 will be as well, not to mention Skrym.

There won't be any idiotic activation system or DRM, and no annoying CD-keys to deal with.

Best news ever for me...

I'd really love to see id software go back into their old games and add Steam Cloud for saved games for those who've bought them on Steam.

Currently, Bethesda, Gearbox, Edios, and 2K have all gone Steamworks on the PC.

BioShock Infinite will also be a Steamworks title, as it's published by 2K, which I'm also really looking forward to.

Forgive me if it's been asked a million times already, but what exactly is STEAM "CLOUD"? I know what STEAM is, I used it all the time and have lots of games, but what is "CLOUD"?

It syncs your game files between computers.

e.g. config settings, saved games, etc.

Thanks. I've heard some people say it can be bandwidth intensive, how so if it's only syncing files? Is it always re-downloading data?

The game typically downloads your game data when you login to Steam and uploads it when you close it. Typically the amount of space they give you for each game is pretty small. I haven't found it to be bandwidth intensive.

EDIT: it seems they have expanded it. It used to be 1MB/user but now each user gets 100MB per game. For large save game files, it may be bandwidth intensive. So YMMV based on the game.

It takes about 5 secs after the game is closed and uses about 30kbps of upload bandwidth.

Hardly bandwidth intensive.

On a side note, I really hope RAGE supports OpenGL 4.
