Default Nvidia 3D Vision under Linux

I'm trying to get NVidia 3D Vision working on a Debian Squeeze (6.0) workstation with one Quadro 4600 card and the nvidia driver version 270.41.19. The 3d vision IR emitter is connected by the 3-pin din and usb, it glows a dull green. The monitor shows a right/left image in glxgears, but the shutter glasses or the emitter does not respond. I have attached a nvidia-bug-report. Please help.
