+1

I'm surprised how many people here aren't interested in this game...

Bah, dark messiah was okay, it was far from awesome... it was confined, short, linear and predictable... oh, and buggy for me - from what I recall it kept crashing about 2 maps from the very end of the game.

The combat may have been okay in dm but that's of little or no importance to me... I certainly won't be judging Skyrim mostly on it's combat system that's for sure...

I don't know what you guys are complaining about combat-wise, it looks completely different from oblivion, they've added in pretty much everything people wanted to improve over oblivion. Looks awesome to me.

i agree, oblivion had three major flaws

1) combat was horrible, and this game seems to repeat that
2) auto leveling, this game maybe will fix that
3) either insanely stupid AI, or mind-reading AI.

edit, how could i forget about all the crazy useless quest.

I love it when people say "best looking game evaaaaa..." etc. and then modders get ahold of it...

Just remember GTA IV is all I'm gonna say.

Well, when the game is released I think it will be the best looking RPG ever made... when modders get a hold of it will they make it look better? Of course they will...... they're not going to make it worse... duh... not sure what your point is?

Morrowind was amazing, and Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time. Can't wait to play this!

i played DM a bit later so maybe it was already fixed...i never had issues with the game.

Oblivion with the texture packs looked great, but man the combat was quiet boring. The main story was extremely boring tbh.

Fallout while using the same engine + texture packs was a lot better because the main story i felt like i wanted to finish...oblivion was...go through red gate...kill last guy...rinse / repeat.

Apparently Skyrim uses Fallouts levelling system. I hope it's all XP based, not just perks.

There are a few mods that give Oblivion an XP based system and fix the mind reading AI. Once you do that the game can be pretty fun, I finally finished it and all DLC recently, I couldn't before with it's stock levelling system...

I loved FO3 and FO: NV so I'm pretty excited for Skyrim, just wont buy it unless it's a proper XP RPG.
