Mandatory reading imo Also something they don't mention is cut and paste. Do that by selecting the text, then tap and a menu comes up. In a web page itself, simply long press a word, and the rest is obvious.

There is some talk in some developer circles about porting dalvik to webos. Android apps run in the dalvik VM.

Just installed the "remove dropped packet logging" patch and it seems to have helped youtube to be a little smoother when viewing 1080p videos

Alpo if you don't end up getting one, I know someone that may have got too many. He was trying to just get 1 but he kept having problems with the shopping cart and has got 2 shipping notices from HP now for a total of 3 Touchpads. He also has 2 from Amazon awaiting shipping.
![]() He may sell you one for the price he paid. Let me know... He said they are all 32GB and he would sell them for what he paid. |

Late Sunday, Barnes and Nobles website had them, listed for $101, I bought one and the order was processed and sat all day, then at like 8pm last night I got an email saying they were cancelling it due to overwhelming demand, no stock, blah blah blah.

Alright, just called HP, and this indian woman came on. I didn't understand half the stuff she said, but I think she said that my package was in the warehouse, and they just haven't gotten around to it yet, or something. And she said I will be getting a tracking number within 24 hours. Heck ya!

Damn dude! That sucks. HP is getting more for next week, theres a site that says notify me if there is more stock, and I guess you put in your email or something. Might want to try that out.

Thanks Albo, I'll check that out.
I bet HP is kicking themselves for not introducing this thing at a lower price point. It's obvious people want one, they just don't want to pay $500 for it. |
